Located in Festival Hall next to Paramount Theatre on
Richmond and John, the Republik Nightclub in Toronto appears to be just like
the rest from the outside. However,
co-owners Walter Rosati and Louis Chu have combined 40+ years experience to
try and deliver the ultimate and most modern club experience in Toronto.
Outside the door are bouncers in military coats.
Inside, you walk into one of the three rooms in Republik Nightclub in
Toronto. The largest room in
the nightclub has two full bars, a stage and an amazing light show.
On the second floor is the smoking room, which takes up two-thirds of
the floor. The smoking room is
well-ventilated with plentiful seating and standing room.
It offers a view of the large dance floor below and a fully stocked
bar can be found outside one set of doors in the smoking room. The three rooms at the Republik Nightclub in Toronto are each
themed so that it has its own personality and appeal.
The main room is simply named “Republik” and features 1000 square
feet of fiber optic curtains, 6 hydraulic trusses outfitted with 80
intelligent lights, 12 rotating 42-inch plasma screens and LED lights.
It also has 200,000 watts of sound and a stage designed to meet the
needs of any performance. The
“Vision” room is the smaller room and features a fully functional indoor
water fall system, LED light wall and full color strobe lights and lasers.
“DSR” (designated smoking room) is Toronto’s largest indoor
smoking lounge. In addition to
the effective ventilation system and fully-stocked bar, there are custom
designed private bathrooms. Mandarin Restaurant in Toronto
